The Märklin C90/6090 decoder was the first Märklin decoder to control high-performance motors with a permanent magnet. The decoder is load controlled, but does not retain the set direction of travel when the power is switched off. The decoder has a function (F0) for digital control of the lights. The address can be set with the dip switch with 8 switches. 80 locomotive numbers can be programmed.
