This listing is for a HUGE "JAN #1 UNIFORMS & INSIGNIA " VERY RARE 1943 genuine Joint Army and Navy uniform handbook- an unclassified World War 2 field identification reference. It includes beautiful drawings and information on all of the German WW2 uniforms, classic drawings! (Afrika Korps, Kriegsmarine, Algemeine SS, Waffen SS, Luftwaffe Paratroopers, Pilots etc...) as well as Japanese and Italian units (and some minor other nations). Includes details of insignia, epaulettes, hats, etc. worn by axis/enemy soldiers & officers during WW II. Intended as a handy in-the-field reference for U.S. troops. Published in Oct.1943. Jointly prepared by the U.S. Military Intelligence Service and the Division of Naval Intelligence. Must be >200 pages, including the front and back covers and section tabs. The manual has a shoe lace through punched hole binding, commonly used in WW II era U.S. military manuals.
