In the middle a red enamelled triangle with the letter P, used by the German authority to distinguish Polish prisoners. The dates 1939-1945 are inscribed
On the back is WIEZNIOM / HITLEROWSKICH / OBOZÓW KONCENTRACYJNYCH, translated as "For those prisoners of Hitler's concentration camps"
On the back from 1985 to 1989 appears the initials RPL and from 1989 RP as the name of the Republic of Poland.
