Two Jars or “Cooking Pots” in terracotta, from Thailand.

Traditionally, these pots were used to prepare medicinal decoctions. The latter were placed on a brazier and heated thanks to the glowing embers, this explains the blackness of jars.

The first pot measures 9 cm high by 14 cm of diameter.

The second pot measures 6.5 cm high by 14.5 cm of diameter.

Very beautiful antique and decorative objects.

Average condition, lacks, it bears the traces of its age and use (have a look at the pictures).
