Sublime Buddha of 57 cm high (without stand) from the Mandalay period, 19th century, Burma.
In Teak wood, lacquered in a red vermillion colour, finished off with gold foil and glass jewellery, this Buddha is of very nice quality.
Magnificent long monastic dress. Very serene, smooth and magnificent face.
Authentic quality piece.
